Jim Hays brings more than three decades of leadership and entrepreneurial experience in the insurance and financial services industries to his role as Board Member.
Jim founded Hays Companies in 1994 and led the firm as Chairman and CEO until its successful sale to Brown & Brown. In addition to Hays Companies, he has founded and owned multiple insurance businesses, banks, and other financial institutions. His business interests also extend to logistics and healthcare, where he has made several successful investments, including in Prime Home Care and Recover Home Health. Jim earned both his Bachelor of Science in Finance and his MBA from the University of Minnesota.
Beyond his business endeavors, Jim is committed to supporting innovative companies and fostering leadership within the industries he serves.
