Lisa Bussenger is a Managing Director and Partner with nearly three decades of experience helping individuals and families prepare for retirement and protect what they have built. Her work centers on retirement income planning, estate planning, and asset preservation, with a particular focus on tax reduction strategies, probate avoidance, and protecting assets from long-term care costs. As an Investment Adviser Representative, Lisa works with clients in a fiduciary capacity. She is also educated as a Master Elite IRA Advisor, a membership through Ed Slott and Company, an organization dedicated to the ongoing study and mastery of IRA tax laws and strategies.
Lisa entered the retirement planning field in 1998, a decision shaped by a deeply personal experience. After losing her father to early-onset Alzheimer’s without a financial plan in place, her family was left to navigate an uncertain and difficult situation. That experience lit a fire in her. She built her practice around the belief that thoughtful planning gives families the one thing uncertainty cannot take away: preparedness. What sets Lisa’s approach apart is her commitment to true portfolio diversification and guaranteed income strategies, a planning philosophy she has refined over nearly three decades of work with clients at every stage of their financial lives.
Lisa has been married to her husband for nearly 40 years. They have three children and three grandchildren, and she loves entertaining at home, getting out on the water, and traveling with family and friends.
