Michael J. Corbett is a Partner and Managing Director who works closely with clients to develop and oversee investment strategies tailored to their long-term objectives. In addition to his client-facing role, Michael leads all investment decisions for his team, including security selection and asset allocation.
Michael brings more than 35 years of industry experience to his work. Prior to joining Rothschild, he served as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer at Perritt Capital Management and Windgate Wealth Management. He also acted as lead portfolio manager beginning in 1996 and previously worked as an investment analyst earlier in his career. His investment background is rooted in extensive research of small- and micro-cap stocks, an area in which he has achieved notable success. Michael earned a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from DePaul University.
Outside of work, Michael values community involvement, previously serving on the Joliet Diocese Endowment Fund Board, the St. Mary of Gostyn Finance Committee, and the St. Mary of Gostyn School Advisory Body. He enjoys spending time with his family and, when time permits, golfing with friends and watching college basketball, especially during March Madness.
