With more than 35 years of experience in financial services, Phil Johnson brings a broad industry perspective and a proven record of strategic leadership to Rothschild Wealth Partners. Over the past decade, he has helped guide the firm’s growth and evolution, with a focus on long-term strategy, disciplined execution, and transparent leadership.
Phil is known for his ability to translate vision into action—aligning people, resources, and priorities around a clear path forward. His leadership philosophy centers on building strong teams, creating a culture of accountability and collaboration, and positioning organizations to grow thoughtfully while remaining focused on the people they serve.
Prior to joining Rothschild Wealth Partners, formerly Sentinus, Phil served as President of InspereX LLC, a leading underwriter and distributor of investment solutions. During his tenure, he led a wide range of functions, including finance, operations and technology, investment banking, trading, and sales. He also played an active role in the firm’s merger and acquisition strategy, from analysis and evaluation through integration.
Phil earned a B.S. in Accounting from Viterbo University and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He is a CPA, holds multiple securities industry licenses, and is a member of the Executives’ Club of Chicago.
Outside of the office, Phil and his wife enjoy volunteering in their community and are active in their parish. They have three children. Phil spent many years coaching youth football, baseball, and softball and continues to enjoy golf and reading military history.
